Is a portable gas stove safe indoors?
Only in a well-ventilated space — an open kitchen, a balcony, or a room with a window open. Butane stoves consume oxygen and release combustion gases, so they must never be used inside a sealed room, a closed tent, or a car. Used with ventilation and a working safety cut-off, a portable stove is a genuinely reliable backup when the LPG runs out mid-recipe or the power goes.
